Terms & Conditions of Sales


Article 1 : This seasonal rental contract is reserved for the exclusive use of the rental of Gîtes de France accommodation approved by the Departmental or interdepartmental branch with territorial jurisdiction on behalf of the National Federation of Gîtes de France.

Under no circumstances can the Fédération Nationale des Gîtes de France be held liable in the event of the use of its contracts by third parties or for purposes other than tourism.

Article 2 - duration of stay :The tenant signatory of this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.

Article 3 - conclusion of the contract :The reservation becomes effective when the tenant has sent the owner a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount and a copy of the signed contract before the date indicated on the front. A second copy is to be kept by the tenant.

The rental concluded between the parties to this deed can in no case benefit even partially to third parties, natural or legal persons, except with the written agreement of the owner.
Any violation of this last paragraph would be likely to result in the immediate termination of the rental at the fault of the tenant, the product of the rental remaining definitively acquired by the owner.

Article 4 - Absence of withdrawal : For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to provision of accommodation services provided on a date or according to a determined periodicity.

Article 5 - cancellation by the tenant : Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter to the owner.

a) cancellation before arrival at the premises:
the deposit remains with the owner. The latter may request the balance of the amount of the stay, if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the scheduled date of entry into the premises.

If the tenant does not appear within 24 hours following the date of arrival indicated on the contract, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his lodging. The deposit also remains with the owner who will request payment of the balance of the rental.

b) if the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. No refund will be made.

Article 6 - cancellation by the owner : The owner transfers to the tenant all the sums paid, as well as an indemnity at least equal to that which the tenant would have borne if the cancellation had occurred by him on this date.

Section 7- arrival : The tenant must present himself on the specified day and at the time mentioned in this contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.

Article 8 - payment of the balance :The balance of the rental is paid upon entering the premises.

Article 9 - inventory : An inventory is drawn up jointly and signed by the tenant and the owner or his representative on arrival and departure from the gîte. This inventory is the only reference in the event of a dispute concerning the inventory.
The state of cleanliness of the lodging on the arrival of the tenant must be noted in the inventory. The cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the tenant during the rental period. At the start, the garbage cans must be thrown away and the dishwasher emptied.

Article 10 - security deposit or surety : On the tenant's arrival, a security deposit, the amount of which is indicated on the front of this contract, is requested by the owner. After the contradictory establishment of the exit inventory, this deposit is returned, after deducting the cost of restoring the premises if damage was noted.
In the event of early departure (prior to the time mentioned on this contract) preventing the establishment of the inventory on the day of the tenant's departure, the security deposit is returned by the owner within a period not exceeding not a week. (provide a rib)

Article 11 - use of the premises : The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the destination of the premises. You are in the center of the village.

Article 12 - capacity : This contract is established for a maximum capacity of 4 people. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse the additional people. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered at the customer's initiative.

Article 13 – reception of animals : This contract specifies whether or not the tenant can stay with a pet. In the event of non-compliance with this clause, the owner may refuse the stay: no refund will then be made. When booking, the customer is required to indicate the number of pets that will accompany him. If applicable, the description sheet specifies any additional prices to be expected (animal price, deposit supplement, cleaning fee supplement, etc.). Specific terms of stay for pets may be specified by the owner in internal regulations posted in the accommodation.

Article 14 – use of household linen: the household linen provided is not to be used for the swimming pool or swimming in the river or sea. You must bring your own bath towels.

Article 15 – cleaning and cleaning products:
Cleaning is included in the rental in the event of long-term rental, it will be done on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the event of refusal of this service, please indicate it. In the event of abnormal dirt, part of the deposit will be retained by the owner. Cleaning products are provided.

Article 15 - insurance :The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by him. It is required to be insured   by a resort-type insurance contract for these various risks, it must be provided before arrival by email gitescorbieres@orange.fr

Article 16 – swimming pool regulations:
The cleaning of the swimming pool will be carried out by the owner early in the morning as well as its maintenance. She is at your disposal

Article 17 - Disputes : These General Conditions of Sale are governed by the law of the country of establishment without obstructing any mandatory protective provisions that may be applicable in the country of residence of the consumers.
