Welcome to the village of Montséret!
Welcome to our holiday rentals ideally located in the Aude, in the heart of the Narbonnaise en Méditerranée Regional Natural Park . Our furnished Gîtes de France **** are located between Narbonne , known for its Roman heritage and its Saint Just cathedral, and Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its medieval city.
We have designed these gîtes in an old winegrowers' house to offer you a stay in the countryside, in the heart of a vineyard, in a village dedicated to rest and discovery of the Corbières, the Minervois and the Mediterranean art of living.
A 5-minute drive or 10-minute bike ride away is the Cistercian Abbey of Fontfroide . Less than 30 minutes away, you can visit the medieval village of Lagrasse , classified as one of the "most beautiful villages in France", with its abbey, as well as the villages of Termes and Villerouge Termenes, home to the castles of Cathar Country.
Enjoy your private pool for swimming, or the nearby rivers. You can also go to the beaches of the Mediterranean at Gruissan , Lapalme or Leucate , located 40 minutes away by car. The African reserve of Sigean is also accessible in 25 minutes.
Food lovers will be delighted by the proximity of the Grands Buffets de Narbonne, a true temple of French cuisine, through the culinary excellence of the Auberge de Fontjoncouse , a starred restaurant, or through the refined cuisine of chef Lionel Giraud in Narbonne.
Our lodgings are located 1 hour from the Pyrénées Orientales and 1h30 from Collioure , Banyuls-sur-Mer and the Côte Vermeille .
In the village, you will findan associative grocery store-baroffering local products mainly from responsible agriculture, a post office, a pétanque ground and a park for children.

Our gites
La bohème (4 personnes)
The 4**** rated ""La Bohème"" gîte is a former winegrower's house dating from 1945.
The decoration is neat, it has two bedrooms (Queen Size beds 180X200), a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and a dressing room.
The kitchen is fully equipped and opens onto a veranda ideal for relaxation.
The rooms are air-conditioned.
A billiard table is at your disposal.
Parking is shared with the other accommodation. Bicycles can be stored under cover.
In the summer you can enjoy your private 4.35x2.25 swimming pool and your enclosed garden.
Linens and sheets are provided. Housekeeping is also included in the rental price.
A tourist tax of 2.59 euros per night per adult is applicable and must be paid upon arrival.
The La Bohème gîte is a family accommodation for 4 people with a private swimming pool, ideal for exploring the Corbières, Languedoc and Occitanie regions.

The decoration is neat, it has a bedroom (160X200 bed), a bathroom and a separate toilet. Upstairs you will find a kitchen, a living room with fireplace and a large terrace. It can accommodate up to 2 people.

🍇 The harvest is over, it's time for the 2024 vintage!
That's it, the harvest is over! The 2024 vintage is now resting peacefully in the vats of the Cellier des Demoiselles , where we are proud to be among the cooperative winegrowers. Between blue skies, generous harvests and contagious good humor, this season was a real success.
Jacques, our master of the vineyards, has put his heart and soul into it and it shows: a great vintage is in the making. From Boutenac to Château Durfort , via Sauvignon and Blanc des Demoiselles , fermentation is in full swing. Some wines are already preparing to adorn themselves with their finest bottles, while others will take the time to refine their aromas. Patience, everything comes to those who know how to wait... and taste!
🫒 When olives turn red
While the wine is calming down in the cellar, our olives are starting to look beautiful. Dame Aglandau is taking on red hues, while the elegant Lucques and Olivières are adorned with purple hues. A few more days of respite, and the harvest can begin. It will then be time to savor these sun-drenched fruits, which will enchant your dishes... and your taste buds!

After the effort, it's time for the festivities! Between the DISABOLS (our traditional end-of-harvest meals) and the moments of sharing around wine, there are plenty of opportunities to get together. And speaking of celebration, don't miss the "Fascinating Weekend" on October 19 and 20. On the program: guided walks in Lagrasse and Homps , escape game at the Château de Luc sur Orbieu , and a visit to the Spiktri museum , housed in a former cooperative cellar. Enough to awaken all your senses!
