ALBIÈRES (N° 987) 
ACCESSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY PROBLEMS
Situated on a plateau where livestock farming is the main activity, from the village you will see a panorama of the surrounding countryside, notably the extensive beech and chestnut forests, so suitable for hiking.
The gîte is near to the castle at Arques and the upper Aude valley where you can enjoy water sports such as canoeing and rafting.

FÉLINES-TERMENÈS (N° 726) 
Live life differently in the former village café. Two miles from the castle at Villerouge-Termenès and its medieval banquets, 10 miles from the abbey at Lagrasse. Terrace. Shop (with postal counter, internet, fax) and tennis court in the village.

LAROQUE DE FA (N° 862) 
The village, situated on one of the main routes through the Corbières, the D613, is an ideal departure point for excursions to the Cathar castles. Small supermarket, shop (with postal counter, internet, fax), tennis court in the village. The gîte is situated in the higher part of the village, with private parking 100 yds away.

MONTJOI (N° 690) 
The house is on a promontory overlooking the Orbieu valley and has unobstructed views of the gorges. The “Petite Vadrouille” booklet, available locally, will guide you on a stroll over the medieval bridge and along the river bank, dotted with sweet-smelling bushes, a delight for all the senses!

TERMES (N° 809) 
One of the “five sons of Carcassonne”, and one of the main attractions of the Cathar country, Termes is today steeped in history. Stroll down its narrow streets, under its covered passageways, to the 12th century church or to the banks of the river Sou which passes through the village.
In the entrance hall of Termes’ castle you will discover the results of the archaeological excavations on the site and other temporary exhibitions.

DERNACUEILLETTE (N° 861) 
A charming gîte situated between the village square, shaded by ancient plane trees, the mill, the pool, and the small river which can be seen from the gîte’s garden. Views of Mont Tauch.

LAIRIÈRE (N° 729) 
At the entrance to the village, the gîte and its garden overlook a valley dappled with pasture and chestnut forest. Only 15 miles from Limoux, with its wineries which produce blanquette (sparkling white wine) and its famous carnival. Visit the village goat breeder and watch the milking.

MASSAC (N° 689) 
For quiet, idyllic holidays in the Torgan valley, above a former wine cellar. The Cathar Country castles of Quéribus and Peyrepertuse are within easy reach. Here, in the heart of the Corbières vineyards, you can visit numerous wineries and taste their products. The gîte has a garage and a terrace with a clear view of the valley.

MOUTHOUMET (N° 728) 
The largest village in the district, Mouthoumet is a village of shepherds and goat breeders. Don’t miss the Auberge du Terroir on the village square where you can taste confit (preserved duck), stews and other local specialities.

Standard facilities in all gîtes
- Gîte sleeps 4 (1 bedroom with a double bed; 1 bedroom with 2 single beds)
- Main room with kitchen area/dining room
- Living room with chimney
- Fully equipped kitchen (crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils) with quality electrical equipment (oven, microwave, 4-burner hob, refrigerator, freezer, dish washer, washing machine).
- The living room is equipped with armchairs and/or a settee. Socket to connect your portable television to an outside arial. Wood for the fire (stored in the building) is included in the price. Note that only gîte no 809 (Termes) has, in addition, a telephone and a television.
- Separate bathroom and toilet.
- Each gîte has a small garden, a large terrace or an interior courtyard
- Barbecue, garden chairs and table.
- Animals accepted
- The prices are for one week (7 nights)
- Weekends are 2 nights (Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday)
Payment and extras
- Water, electricity, wood for the fire, and cleaning at the end of your stay are included in the price.
- If you need a cot please ask when reserving. There is no charge.
- If you do not wish to provide your own linen (sheets, towels, teatowels) please ask when reserving. You will be charged 15 euros for these.
- A deposit of 150 euros will be required at the beginning of your stay.
- An inventory will be drawn up a the start and the end of your stay.
- If you have French “chèques vacances” they can be used for payment.
